Many people have a common misconception about a woman that takes good care of herself (looks wise). People think that if a woman has her hair, nails and eyebrows done and dresses well, that she is obviously not taking care of her house duties as a mother, as a wife, as the caretaker of the house. Women often let themselves go after having children because they put themselves last (which is a great selfless act) but you can never forget about yourself. How can you be your best when you do not feel your best? As a woman you should never have to feel bad about taking some time out of your busy day for YOURSELF. It is important and NECESSARY.
I hear a lot of women say “I just don’t have the time to put make up on in the morning” or “I have so much to do on the weekends I don’t have time to go to the hair or nail salon”. Well I have news for you, you don’t HAVE to go to the salon to do your hair or nails, use whatever free time you have at home to get it done and feel good about yourself, and if at least once a month you can spoil yourself by going to the salon then go ahead and do so! Trust me you will feel like a whole new person after!
People can feel a woman’s confidence when they see her and when you look good you feel good (that’s my motto)!
So next time you even think about saying “I don’t have the time….” Stop yourself and MAKE some time. Your other half will appreciate you in a whole new way and if you don’t have one, YOU will appreciate yourself in a whole new way!
